Themes are limitless when planning a wedding. Some Like It Classic has worked on wedding themes from winter wonderland with crystals, glitter, and blue up-lighting to even a wedding themed around the Muppet Babies classically done.

With such a broad spectrum to choose from, we suggest that if you are interested in adding some flair to your big day, choose something that best embodies you as a couple. If your heritage is Moroccan, let’s turn your event space into a sexy Moroccan paradise with candle light, lounge chairs in a mix of dark and maybe orange fabrics, and rich Moroccan food elements.

Some Like It Classic says, even though you are choosing a theme, keep in mind… it is still your wedding not a Birthday Party. You don’t want your guests feel as though your big day isn’t surrounded by love and your union, so don’t overdo the décor!!

When you have chosen your theme, sit down and begin researching and brainstorming different elements that you can incorporate into your big day. For instance, if you want a Medieval celebration, go rent King Arthur or head to your local library and checkout a history book.

Start jotting down different elements you can use to pull off this lavish Medieval day, like setting up your tables rich with feast bread, preserves, turkey, wine, for your cake have golden embelishments fit for a queen, and for your aisle, line with black fire posts with guests chairs adorned with golden tassels.

The purpose of a wedding theme is to not only make your celebration unique and never before seen by your guests, but make it personalized to the bridal couple. So whatever elements you DO choose, make sure that they “fit” you, the couple, and are comfortable elements for your guests to enjoy their time as well.
